Nothing is posted until you approve.

A bill is uploaded, its fields are read, the owner fills the one gap (bill number), and it waits for approval. Nothing is posted yet.

What you can send it today

  • Bills and receipts: PDFs or photos.
  • Saved emails (.eml): vendor invoices and SaaS receipts.
  • Bank and card statements: CSV, Excel or PDF, read by Statement Sense.

What it reads

Supplier name and GSTIN, bill number and date, HSN codes and the total — from GST tax invoices, SaaS receipts, utility bills and travel tickets. If something isn't on the document, like a missing bill number, you add it before approving.

Coming soon Connect your inbox

  • Gmail and Google Drive, read-only. BoringAccounts will look for bills, invoices and bank alerts and draft entries from them. Access will be read-only: it will not be able to send, delete or move anything, and you will be able to disconnect any time.
  • A forwarding address for each company. Forward a bill to it and the draft will appear in that company's queue.

Questions

Do I need to connect my email?

No. Today you upload bills and saved emails. Connecting Gmail and Google Drive read-only is coming soon.

What about bills on paper?
